The Choose Water App is an easy way for you to give back.

 

There are two ways to give within the app.

#1 Give Clean Water Now:

• Step 1: You Choose Water for yourself when you dine at a restaurant. Skip the fizzy drink and order a free water to drink with your meal instead. Water is always a healthy alternative to a soda or sweetened beverage. Choose Water for you.

• Step 2: You Choose Water for people living in extreme poverty. After you order water with your meal, simply open the Choose Water App and give a small donation instead of the money you would have spent on a tea or soda. Giving a donation through the app gives money that is used directly towards providing safe, clean water for villages in Africa. Choose Water for them.

#2 Give to a Project

Anyone can start a project to raise money to give clean water. This is the area that you will send people to to support that specific project.

You can start your own project. Just send an email to water@choosewater.org to get started. Any dollar amount is the right amount for a project, but here are some good ones to shoot for:
– $60 Rotary Barrel. These rolling water containers help disabled and elderly women be independent.
-$1000 Repair a Broken Well. We can repair wells that have broken down that were drilled by other organizations. We also teach these villages to repair their well so it can be a sustainable solution.
-$8000 Drill a New Well. Safe, clean water for a whole village. We also train people to maintain and repair the well, in addition to our Sanitation & Hygiene program that teaches about the importance of proper toilets and hand-washing, amongst other things. Clean water for a whole village for 25+ years!
